Analytics and cookie notice
Effective 5 September 2026
This notice explains analytics and related third-party services on alexandrudanpop.dev. It is not a claim that this page covers every legal obligation that may apply to the website.
Your analytics choice
You can change this choice at any time. Use “Privacy & cookies” in the main navigation to return here.
Current choice: No analytics choice has been saved yet. Changes apply immediately.
Who controls the analytics data
Alexandru-Dan Pop operates this website. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to contact@alexandrudanpop.dev.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is used to understand which pages are useful and how visitors move through the site. It does not load and no analytics request is sent unless you choose to allow analytics. Choosing not to allow analytics keeps analytics storage disabled.
If accepted, Google Analytics may set _ga and a property-specific _ga_<container-id> cookie. These cookies can last for up to two years, subject to the property and browser configuration. Analytics event retention is controlled in the Google Analytics property; this notice does not state an unverified property retention setting.
Google receives and processes the analytics data. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.
What happens when you withdraw
Withdrawing consent disables future analytics collection and the site attempts to delete its accessible Google Analytics cookies. A script that has already loaded cannot be unloaded, but no later page views are sent while analytics is rejected.
Other third-party services
Contact form submissions are sent to Web3Forms when you choose to submit the form. Archived posts may include external YouTube or Twitter content. Those services are outside the analytics choice described above and may process data under their own terms when you interact with or load their content.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal data, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact Alexandru-Dan Pop at the email address above to make a request or ask a question.
